I had a perfect childhood. Tree houses, a boat, house on the lake, two parents, two brothers, two sisters (I'm the youngest by 12 years...change of life baby?) bicycles, big wheels, roller skates, etc.

I have a steady job in an office at a concrete construction company (I'm a "time-card cop") with vacation time and good bennies, where I'm allowed to dress as I please in my favorite clothes: Jeans or cut-offs, tye dye and hoodies. I've been working there a long time and plan to stay until both my kids are 18 (only one more to go!), then I'll sell all my worldy goods and just TRAVEL! I have waitressing and bartending skills, so I should be able to supplement my survival with quickie jobs as I go.

In 1985 I discovered Tarot cards, and still like reading them for friends and for fun. I'm not religious, and consider the bible to be the first known work of fiction, ever. Jesus Freaks drive me up the wall.

I love to read and watch movies: I own thousands of books and piles of movies. Horror is a favorite with me. Stephen King and Dean Koontz are the best Horror writers I've found along with Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb for just plain entertainment. I have ALL the Twilight Zone episodes on DVD and am quite proud of my House, Gilligan's Island, Bones, and Land of the Lost collections. I collect cool old VHS movies like "Rosemary's Baby", "A Clockwork Orange", "Prom Night", "The Omen" and "Harold and Maude".

I decorate my home in 70's style with lots of bold colors, tye dye, candles, incense and lava lamps. I don't particularly care for lots of people in my home at a time (I have recurring nightmares about parties gone wrong) but prefer smaller, more intimate gatherings with close friends. I enjoy playing cards (euchre, sheepshead, poker, etc.) I love to cook and HATE doing dishes!

I have two sons, 18 and 13 who are pure joys: intelligent, fun and good-looking. I don't like to date anyone who has kids younger than mine, or too many kids...I've done my time and I'm not looking to repeat any type of parenting issues.


I started an exercise program at the beginning of June 09 to keep from getting my own zip code...I've been quite vigilant in my efforts so far. I've decided not to replace my profile pic until I've reached my goal...should only be a couple more months!
