Let me give you the dealbreakers first. I smoke and my political views tend to run just right of Judge Roy Bean. I don't mind if you don't smoke or if you're a liberal. Not all of us can be perfect. See how easy that was.

I like intelligent, witty, outgoing women. Because I'm slender and in shape, I like women who are on the narrow side, also. I want someone who understands not just the the physical but the emotional part of true intimacy. I'm very affectionate and attentive. It's the Sicilian in me. I've been told I'm the kind of friend friends like to have. Love me love my dogs because I have two...Tango & Buddy. I'm retired and own my own home in FL. I'm renting here. Having spent most of my life in the proverbial "fast lane", I now live a modest, laid back, life...nothing ostentatious or pretentious. I love to cook, landscape and garden. I do some pretty nice photography, and still play a little guitar and sing. I'm a published writer/author. I'm not an alcoholic or a druggie. I'm not abusive in any way and I'm emotionally stable. I'm not a "controller" nor am I an "enabler".

I'm really no different than anyone else here in that I'm simply looking for that "one" good, special, person in my life. A best friend.
