Hi. I'm a Long Island native although I lack the accent - I got rid of it once I realized how it sounds outside of Long Island. I work in finance in Manhattan but I didn't make the world explode - promise it wasn't my fault. I commute every day which can be a pain although it's great to get reading done. I enjoy low-key scenes more than crowded ones although a change up is good every now and again.

For fun I like pick up games of whatever with friends, going out to eat and trying different food (german, italian, thai current favorites) and recently belgian beers.

I am probably one of the least jealous people you'll ever meet.

I do not mind sharing food ever, but if you take off my plate without asking I will stab you with my utensils.

I'm an idiot savant at jumbles/crosswords.

From classical to hip-hop I enjoy most music Led Zep/Gangstarr/Bach/Coltrane etc. Exclusions are country/bluegrass/folk.

Hopefully within the upcoming year I'll be starting my MBA.

I'm a big fan of balance. I think friendships/relationships work best when people share the same opinions on the big things, but differ enough that they can help each other smooth out rough spots. Most of the time though I'd say don't take what I say too seriously - I'm a bit sarcastic.

I am a big fan of going out to dinner so perhaps going to a local restaurant or place in Manhattan then going out to a bar to meet up with friends afterwards works for me - it really depends on the other person. I'd like to think first dates should be easy-going with no expectations - when pressure is off people tend to really show themselves and things just flow easier.
