I live on the west side of Houston, and I work in the oil & gas industry. I was born in West Virginia, in 1955, but I've been in Houston since 1978.

One of the things I really enjoy doing is going out to see live musicians do their thing. Mostly I am into blues and bluesy rock, and singer songwriters of all flavors.

There is almost always music in my house. When I'm hanging around the house, I'm usually cooking. I have been vegan for several years, so my repertoire has changed a bit. I get a real kick out of feeding my friends.

I've been into zen since 1973. About myself I can tell you that I am a good and honest man. I try the best I can to always live by the golden rule, and cast good pebbles into the pond. I try every day to take good care of my soul, and to remember that every act makes a difference. I'm not any better at it than anybody else. I just try to remember to try.

In a nutshell, I can say that I'm a hard worker, deadpan honest, and a good neighbor. I hold myself to high moral standards and I want to surround myself with others who have the same set of ideals.
