Well here I am (again) on POF...who would have thought that meeting someone like-minded would have been so hard????? !!!!!

Yes, I'm 45 and no, I don't act my age. Never have and never will. I'm totally spontaneous and like to pick up and go without a plan. I have a great job but I work to live and not live to work. I'm financially secure, wicked independent, I don't want to change anybody and I don't want to be changed. I love a lively conversation, New Orleans, music, tattoos, football, great UFC fights, books, movies and finding the hole-in-the-wall places where you make friends for life. My kids are grown and gone but I would love to have kids around again (minus the crazy ex's, please).

I am ready for a relationship, but not relying on POF to meet my soulmate. I am not hell-bent to get married, but I also don't want to be one of many. I'm very monogamous and I miss the intimacy of having someone special in my life. Mostly, I am not interested in a POF lifer - my goal is to get out of the pond forever, and I hope to someday meet someone somewhere with the same goal. So, in the meantime, I am very open, direct and honest and just hope that whoever I meet is the same.

I guess I should also mention that I am much more attracted to guys my age and younger - I'm not a cougar lookin to bag every guy I can, but I'm sure not ready to hop in the RV and spend lazy days in retirement either. Bonus points if you like (and have) a sarcastic sense of humor - especially if you can dish it out AND take it!

Whatever sounds good at that moment - let's not plan it to death, and let's just be honest if there isn't enough chemistry for Date #2.
