I've never considered using a site like this, but I figured I'd give it a shot. My work keeps me away from the area for long periods of time, but I spend the whole winter in town. I think that this time would be well spent with someone else. I've had a lot of life-changing experiences in the past year, and have come out of them as a new man, willing to look for adventure and fun wherever I can find it. I like traveling, reading, philosophizing, shooting, hanging out, and experiencing new things. I'm kind of on the intellectual side, but I know how to have fun; clubs, bars, bookshops and theatres, it's all OK with me. I've recently moved to Seattle, and now that I'm getting settled in, I'm really starting to like the town.

I know that most people would put the "dinner or a movie and a walk on the beach" as their idea of an ideal first date. That's fine, but I like the idea of something that breaks the pattern as well, like going to the Symphony, a museum, the opera or a show, then dinner or coffee or whatever else comes to mind.
