Somewhat shy, sometimes not. Big teddy bear type of guy. Look like a football player, feel like a puppy.
I have been through my share of drama and I don't really want any more. I have seen things that nobody should have to see and did all that I could to make it better, sometimes succeeding, sometimes not. Ex Capt/fire fighter/EMT in NY. Moved to Fl in 2002 and to Cape Coral in 2005.
Love the Fl lifestyle but would enjoy it a lot more with someone to share it with. A caring, smart (that does not necessarily mean education), pretty (that does not mean centerfold ) and honest woman would complete me. Yes I said it, complete me. I have seen all of the profiles that say I don't need a man/woman to complete me but I want one...well lets cut the bull and be honest. If you are here you are looking for something. Either a play toy or a friend and companion. I seek a friend and companion. I seek a woman who knows what she wants and when that person comes along she does not toss him aside for exactly what she said she did not want, or someone just like the last one that hurt her.
I know it may seem like it but I am not at all bitter but I am beginning to understand that no matter how nice you are there are those that will ignore it for the flash or have not learned from the past. There are of course times when you meet a person and feel an amazing energy but they do not. It happens, it sucks, it goes away, then you try again.
I am not at all a player and I am probably not that good at dating but I do still believe that there is a woman who can see me for who I am and wants to be who she is and not what somebody else expects her to be. Just be honest with me and I will be with you. And be honest with yourself. If it didn't work before it wont work now.
We have nothing to lose by talking and everything to gain. Life is full of surprises, surprise me and I may just surprise you.

I like to do something different on a date. A place where you can talk and get to know each other. An activity that one or both of us has never done. I also like the cliche sunsets on the beach but I can add a grill and a bottle of wine and make it even nicer. A walk on a nature trail or a ride on a tour boat. Really anything that will end up as one of those memories that can just pop up at any time and put a smile on your face. If that seems to much for you than a cup of coffee and a nice conversation. As long as we get to know each other. The sun sets every day, we can see it next time.
