I enjoy the aroma of fresh coffee in the morning, the sound of a perfectly hit tennis ball, the harmony of a Cuban band on stage, the explosion of Thai flavours coming together and their tickling effects on my taste buds, and the rapture of discovering the heartbeat of a new city or culture.

As a result of this globe-trotting journey to satisfy my curiosity, I have absorbed quite a few languages along the way, some easier to decode than others. Another offshoot is that I have acquired a new vista from which to contemplate the world. Why limit yourself to your own playground when there's an entire planet up for grabs? Wouldn't you agree?
