I will do my best here, but be forewarned...this isn't my specialty. I've been alone for quite sometime because expecting a woman to balance work, manage a home, take care of children and try to date, is asking a little too much from anyone. It was just too complicated for all concerned. I decided years ago to occupy myself with other interest and wait things out until the moms had an empty nest and free of guilt. Well..that was my plan, but I'm not so sure it worked out like I thought. While waiting, I became well adjusted to being alone, older and a little set in my ways. In short, I would like someone that doesn't need to rush things. I may need a little gradual adjustment. I spend most of my time working in my shop, pursuing my interest and a little time thinking about what a female friend or companion might be like at this point in life. I do have some idea of who I would like to find, but considerable doubt about her existence. Well, being the curious sort that I am....I'll take a last shot at it and see what happens. Just in case she's lurking somewhere out in cyber space...here is a little about me. I'm generally easy going unless you eat the last piece of my dark chocolate. I'm considered by friends to have a unique philosophy or wisdom (they are sucking up to use my power tools) LoL. One of my dreams would be selling my house and moving near a small town in the mountains. There is just something about the tranquility, beauty and piece of mind that lures me like a magnet. I'm honest, trustworthy, loyal, a deep thinker and very logical (I know that last one is going to be a big hit with you ladies) get over it...I'm a man. I'm very affectionate (or at least I was historically). I'm very handy (I made a custom book marker for the yellow pages). Well, that's enough for now...there is much more but If I rite 2 mutch I start 4gittin howda spel.

UPDATE: Although I haven't dated anyone yet, I think I've learned enough on these sites to leave well enough alone. The silver lining in this cloud was showing me that remaining single is a pretty good alternative at my age. I guess I've been away from drama too long to welcome it back into my life. Although I'm no longer interested in dating or a relationship, it would be nice to find a female phone friend that had some hobbies or interest she enjoyed discussing on occasion....as long as that interest isn't the life story of your cats. We all need a little balance in life and talking to male buddies about mechanical things all the time can become a bore as well. I make a good friend and can be rather intertaining at times....so if you would like to have a man to talk to without getting yourself into trouble....give it a shot. I even listen to dating horror stories...Imagine that!

Well, personally I like something quiet and relaxing, but if you must have excitement, we could always go to a bikers bar and make fun of tattoos and finish up with a nice game of leapfrog with a unicorn.
