Hi,

I'm 26 and currently living in the south West subrubs of chicago. I was in iowa for one year and am currently working on my master in computer science . I'll be done with school next year, depending upon any internship opportunities that may be available to me, so I'm pretty excited to be almost out!


What else....

I'm non smoker and health conscious in general. I am originally from jordan but moved to the US about 2 years ago and very well adjusted in American lifestyle. I am educated with a degree in computer science. I am uncomplicated, laidback, and easy going being able to hang out in jeans & shirt just as well as getting dressed up and going out somewhere nice for a formal night out. I have a fine taste in enjoying social night life, fine dine outs, cultural events etc. I am usually an upbeat person with a great sense of humor. I like to make others smile and my friends generally like my company. I can engage in serious, meaningful and intelligent discussion about various issues. Yes I am Muslim but a not a religious. I try to strike a balance in my life with an open minded approach to the realities of living in a western society and yet I adhere to the core Islamic values.
this is not about casual dating, hookups or endless email exchanges, internet chats etc. I'd like to meet somone who's serious about settling down in a married life.
I am open to other cultures/backgrounds too as long as you've a positive & accomodating attitude towards other cultures and don't have a prejudiced mindset fed on media stereotypes against Islam or Muslims in general. I am not here to defend my religion or to explain the actions of those who exploit religion for whatever reasons.


I consider myself a gentleman, I treat people with civility, courtesy, and respect. As far as free time goes, I spend a fair amount of time with my friends. In the summer I like to go biking, hiking.



I'm a fairly adventurous guy. I'll try most anything and have fun doing it.

I like to travel when I have the cash to do it, but when I go somewhere, I hate to stay in hotels, eat in chain/franchise restaurants. I've been all over the North America, Middle East, and few places in Europe.

I'm a pretty outgoing person, the type that walks up and talks to everyone at parties. I'm a really laid back, go with the flow kind of guy. If something happens and plans get wrecked, I have no problem coming up with something just as good if not better.

I'm a very passionate person. I love my family,kids,my friends,music, and just about anything in general. i love slow passionate kisses in the rain. I really enjoy cooking.

I guess what I'm looking for is someone I enjoy spending time with. Someone I can be friends with and more. I've come to realize that a solid friendship is a prerequisite for a stable relationship. I'd like someone who isn't afraid to be a little ridiculous among friends, but knows when to draw the line. Most importantly, I'm looking for a partner, not a boss or a subordinate, but an equal.
