Hello and welcome to my little space on this site.

Personality-wise I am at turns easy-going, open, fun, silly, serious, quirky, caring, friendly, genuine, ambitious, intelligent and intellectual, witty, simple and complex, but always all round lovely.

I love to laugh, be silly and have fun. I can discuss politics, art, music, philosophy or psychology over a bottle or two deep into the night, but am just as likely to discuss why DVDs come in larger boxes than CDs when they are the same size, why kamikaze pilots wore helmets, why slow up means the same as slow down and where all the bic biros go.

Music is a passion. I like gigging and am a fan of anything weird and wonderful from wistful indie to electronica to rock to, well, anything that is good really.

I love a good movie (anything Nouvelle Vague) and a decent read (from Bukowski to Camus to Moers to Heller). I also do like to ramble on about epistemology, modernism, science and anything else that is fascinating me that particular week.

I occasionally play video games, but am yet to ever finish one.

I am a creative, artistic type and I particularly love to write (feel free to ask for my website link where I keep a lot of my work). I'm rarely without a notebook and pencil, watching the world and scribbling it all down so I can play with words later. I'm not a naturally gifted writer; every phrase, word and even every god damn punctuation mark seems to be hard won. But I persevere and have occasional strokes of lucidity enough to say something worthwhile every now and again.
