Happiness is found not at the end of our journey but on our path through life. I've been living in Portland for a few years now and have put down some heavy roots. During these uncertain times, I try to keep a positive attitude by taking time to meditate and be grateful for all that I have. Over the past two years, I built an all-electric car and drive it every day to avoid using gasoline as much as I can. I tend to introverted but intense at the same time. Getting reconnected with nature through hiking and backpacking keeps me sane in this consumerist, materialistic world.

I'm looking for someone to go on adventures with. I'll try almost anything once (except skydiving). I'm looking for someone who knows themself or is willing to find out. Relationships only work when both people are mutually supportive and uplifting to each other.

For a first date, let's keep it short and simple to see if we hit it off. If things go well, it'd be great to go for a hike out in the Columbia Gorge or walk around the bridges in downtown Portland and talk about life. Afterwards, we'd go out for some Thai food or sushi to fill up and chat more.
