About Me
No one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
Life can be absurd. We can choose to laugh or cry. I do both. I feel both the highs and the lows. I am as real as it gets. Truth is of utmost importance to me. I refuse to squander time on people who can't be honest, decisive, compassionate, logical, and communicative.
What am I doing here? Just widening my social network. Letting go of antiquated paradigms of relationships. ("Fractured Fairytales" is a reference to "The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show"). Looking for enlightenment and authentic relationships that will not interfere with my self-actualization. Online environments seem superior to chance encounters. Still have to sort the wheat from the chaff but can do so more quickly. By now, I am fairly adept at recognizing a variety of reasons that a friendship or more is not in the cards for us. That said, here are the much misunderstood quotes: "I feel that life is divided into the horrible and the miserable. That's the two categories. The horrible are like, I don't know, terminal cases, you know, and blind people, crippled. I don't know how they get through life. It's amazing to me. And the miserable is everyone else. So you should be thankful that you're miserable, because that's very lucky, to be miserable." "There's an old joke - um... two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of 'em says, "Boy, the food at this place is really terrible." The other one says, "Yeah, I know; and such small portions." Well, that's essentially how I feel about life - full of loneliness, and misery, and suffering, and unhappiness, and it's all over much too quickly." Tragedy in life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.
Most importantly, I would describe myself as a freethinker. So, if you have narrow spiritual views that you rely on to get through life, I would rather not disturb that.
The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances; if there is any reaction, both are transformed." ~ Carl Jung I can't imagine a better way to say it.
