DOES ANYBODY EVER REALLY READ A PROFILE, OR JUST GLANCE AT IT ?

As I write this, as of Nov. 11th it will be one year that I have been on POF, and in that year I have talked to some very, very nice and interesting women, and I have talked to game players, druggies, drunks, and women that say they want a relationship, and then do a 180 and change their munds, and oh the ones that are dating more than one guy, but fail to tell you that.

And they don't reply back most of the time, and if they do you get 1. Your not my type, 2. I don't think we are a match, 3. I am not interested, but the interests and what they are looking for just fits, but the women are very, very picky about who they reply too, I think if a guy takes the time to write a woman, it is only fair that she write back, and at least find out if the guy is on the up and up, good god give it a try and see, if there is one thing I hate is that most think they are better than the next one, but face it the guy was writing to you, not the next one. POF is somewhat of a joke, but I do have faith that one of you women are for real and looking for the same thing and one the same page as myself. We are all on POF for some reason or another, but if you don't try and meet a guy half way, you just may have let a keeper get aeay.

Hello Ya'll, My name is Bob and I am a 57 year old guy, (there is a missprint in my age, I was not born in 1949 making me 60, I was born in 1952 making me 57. (and it was my fault for that, sorry), I am about 5' 7" or there abouts, Have light brown/blondish hair(btw, I am not bald, (LOL) have blue eyes, and I think that I am the average male looking for an average female that is very serious about finding a nice sweet loving gentleman. I am self-employed and have a Handyman/Home Improvement Business that pays the bills and for other things, I would like to start a Fishing Charter Business this next year or the following year, if I can find the right boat for the charters, and I would like my Handyman Business to get much better and grow faster, I have had it for 2 years and it is going good but i would like it better. I have played the drums for well over 45+ years and have played with many bands from well known artists to local bands, and I play anything from Big Band to Classic Rock amd everything in between, and have traveled with many top recording artists, now I just play locally and don't live out of a suitcase very much anymore. I am hooked on "Dancing With The Stars" and have been for a long time and would love to learn Ballroom Dancing, but could use a partner that knows how or would like to learn how to ballroom dance.

I am living in Lackawanna, N.Y. just south of Buffalo at the present time and I also have a home in Evans N.Y., but because of a lot of water damage from 3 water pipes breaking over the winter, I am not there till I get some time to fix the pipes, and trust me there is a lot of damage and work to do there, but it is still my home, and with working on other peoples homes it is a bit tough to fix the house, but at some point I will get to do it.

The woman that I would like to know would be (AND I AM VERY FLEXABLE WITH THIS) between 35 and 58, slim to average from around 100 to 155 lbs., about 5' to 5' 6" she would be somewhat attractive(But not looking like a Barbie Doll) just an average fun loving woman and she can be a blond, or a brunette, or whatever (except bald), she should like to do things and have fun, one of the problems I have is that it is very hard to keep up with me, I am on the go most of the time, and if you say that you are looking for a long term relatsionship, mean it, and please don't say, well I thought I wanted a relatisionship but now I don't know, I am looking for honesty, communication, committment, and trust, from a very loving woman, who knows how to be a lady, and a tigeress when she needs to be. For the first few times, maybe send e mails back and forth, then talk on the phone and get to know the voices and just talk, and talk, and talk. if we get to the point were we agree to meet then we can decide when and where together, I do feel that if the two people decide together then it kinda breaks the ice and puts everyone involved at ease. I am very flexable as to a first date or meeting, maybe a cup of coffee, a walk in the park(weather permitting), or do something else, if we agree to have a second date then I will make the plans, and I think that you would be pleasantly suprised. I try not to push anything so we have to make the decision together and go and have some fun
