For me, interesting women are educated and independent and know who they are and what they want. They have a sensual balance, are emotionally open, and very comfortable with their sexuality. I am very attracted to the girl next door type. Interesting women are opinionated concerning domestic and world issues because they care about this world in a personal sense beyond nine-to-five. They vote!
The past election enlightened me as to the radical differences between ideologies. I now realize what vast differences there are between conservatives and liberals. I never realized how conservative a conservative mind could be. The lack of common ground eventually breaks down communication. I am very laid back and even tempered, yet very opinionated, and would prefer to share more common ground than not. Great communication and chemistry are the most important ingredient. I am a liberal, so if your a conservative and thought Palin was a good choice and Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh are deep thinkers, we will definitely not be on the same page. In my case, opposites no longer attract. Dealing with someones idiosyncrasies is something I left behind with my divorce.
I am comfortable being single but prefer being in a monogamous relationship. I have been married only once and not much interested in someone who has been married multiple times. There is a lot of truth in the old saying, "Distance Makes The Heart Grow Fonder". Looking forward to a date keeps things fresh and romantic. I enjoy and need my space and respect that for you as well.
I am educated and prefer the same. My degree is in psychology and I also studied film, so I am somewhat artistic and open minded and would prefer being with someone that has a creative side. Accountant and lawyer types are a bit to dry for me. I have showed and trained dogs, have cats, and love horses. I do believe in the old saying, "If your dog dislikes someone, then beware of that person." I have some ranch land in Oklahoma for those horses that I plan to retire to. I am well traveled, but I am a home body and enjoy working around the house and yard. I enjoy the usual activities, especially gardening and hope to plant a vineyard on my land in the near future. I dance and I am a good cook! I wish I played golf, but do not do it very well. I am looking for someone who is fit, active, low maintenance, spontaneous, and adventuresome enough to do things with me rather than just tag along. I am more spiritual than religious and prefer the same. I try to stay physically attractive, so I am not attracted in any way, to someone who is over-weight or settled into accepting middle age. If the ridiculous notion that todays average woman is a size 14, then I prefer thin women. I also have no interest drama queens, needy, or high maintenance women.
Our first meeting will be a quite place that we can share conversation. That would not be Starbucks! I have learned that dinner is not good for the first meeting, for it can make for a very long evening if there is no chemistry. So let's keep it simple.
