I'm not very good at this but here it goes. I'm a 36 year old man looking to start completely over in life following a fairly tumultuous divorce in which I lost pretty much everything. First off, I AM REAL! I am honest and caring and not into playing with other peoples' hearts. I want to fall in love again but believe that any new relationship I get into should be taken at a slow pace; I want to be friends with whomever I end up with as well as romantic. Basically I am not into head games and am not out to take advantage of anyone. I believe that life will get better with time and effort.

Some random things about me:
I have a daughter but she lives with my ex. She doesn't live here with me, and I go visit her every couple of weeks when I can. I'm not looking for someone to be a mother to her, though I would like that special someone to know her.
I love the sound of the ocean, especially in the morning.
My favorite love song is "Love of My Life" by Queen (i still get teary eyed listening to it)
I like to travel; the best trip I took was to Alaska when I was in my 20s. I'd live there if it weren't for having my family here.
My family, by the way, is very very important to me. I try to let them know how much daily.
I love to laugh; I think most people don't laugh enough in life.
I can be a bit shy around new people. But I do open up in good company and conversation.
I like most kinds of music save for rap and hip hop.
Someday I want to travel to Great Britain and drive on the other side of the road.
I love to hold hands in public and give hugs.
I like to read but I don't get to read as much as I'd like.
Art Museums are fun places for me; I was an art history and history major in college, with an additional degree in graphic design.
My biggest wish is to make someone deliriously happy.
