I've speculated as to why I've made - and maintained - a profile here, and have come up with this:

I do not enjoy wading amongst the flotsam and jetsam that occupy my usual haunts. If I hook up with someone from a night out, the chances of me wanting to see them again is virtually zero. Using friends of friends as a dating pool can and has gotten awkward, and I think (/hope) I've finally learned my lesson about getting involved with people at work. Besides, the internet is great. Don't h8.

Anyway, onwards.

I'm not currently in school, preferring instead to work full time and otherwise drift on the warm, alcoholic sea of Montreal subculture. Rather than spend the time articulating myself properly, I will just throw out some haphazard statements:

• Some things I do may merit a raised eyebrow (often two).
• Hallowe'en is my favorite holiday.
• I enjoy frivolity, wackiness, whimsy and general frolicking.
• My favorite film genres include: musicals, Bollywood, 90s teen movies and silver screen classics.
• Love of breakfast and theme parties is essential.
• I think french fries go best with mayo.
• I am both intensely afraid and extremely fascinated with sharks and feral children.
• I'm a not-so-closeted dork and total literary nerd.
• My teas of choice are Darjeeling & Dorian Gray
• I have a weird thing for writing lists (as demonstrated here).
• I have an obese, gender confused female rabbit named Peter Pevensie.
• I have a habit of being a tad Machiavellian.
• If I really like you I'll make you a mixtape.

If you're outrageous, attractive, intellectual, artistic, passionate about music, somewhat stubborn, extremely open-minded and slightly obsessive, message away; I might give you a whirl.

If you're the type of person to take yourself too seriously, just don't bother. This is supposed to be fun, yo.
