I guess if you asked my friends to describe my personality they'd probably tell you I'm a funny, outgoing, down to earth type of person. I'm very upfront and honest and not afraid to be the life of the party. I'm very confident in who I am and I can honestly say I LOVE my life! I love to have fun no matter where I am or what I'm doing. I'm also very close to my family. I moved here 3 years ago from New Orleans to be closer to 2 of my sisters and their kids. We spend a lot of time together and have a great time. My favorite ritual is going over to one of their houses on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings for coffee. You're not allowed to brush your hair or fix yourself up. I have learned to change out of my pajamas before driving over there, though. I learned that one the hard way once when I had to stop to get gas.
I've also made some great friends in the short time I've been here. I'm always looking for an excuse to have a party with them. I prefer small gatherings of close friends, of course. I love to cook and enjoy trying new things for them to taste. I think they enjoy that too ;-)
Don't get me wrong...I also love to have quiet evenings where we just get in our PJs, order thai food or chinese, and watch movies all night. I like the obvious things as well...like going out to dinner, movies, bowling, etc. I'm pretty creative so in my free time I love to paint.
Oh, and I recently donated several inches of my long hair to Locks of Love. I do get lots of compliments on the new length, but I'm letting it grow back. So if you're one of those people who prefer it short, sorry, don't get used to it ;-)

Ok, ok, enough about me already...what about you?

I'd love to meet someone who has similar interests and a great sense of humor. I'd expect to be able to be myself around them and have a mutual respect for one another. Of course there has to be chemistry too. So if you're interested, just let me know. ;-)
