Irregardless is not a word, "regardless" does just fine.

You may have "piqued" someone's interest, not "peaked". But, if you've used "peaked", you probably haven't "piqued."

You "whet" your appetite, you don't "wet" one; to wet one would be gross.

A preposition is not the best thing to end a sentence with.

Go somewhere neither of us wants to be, have moments of uncomfortable silence -- regularly looking at our watches (even though one of us doesn't have a watch), you say something and I think, "Ok, that is maybe the most f-d up/boring/stupid/self-deprecating/self-important (pick one) thing I have ever heard" (look at watch that I am not wearing again).
