I stumbled in life but I am bouncing back big time. At 48, I am in the best shape of my life. I exercise regularly and go for long bike rides. Appreciating and preserving the Beauty of God’s creation is the highest form of worship. Having someone special to appreciate it makes it that much more spiritual. I am an intellectual and I am deeply engaged with the world, but I know that frivolity and spontaneity are the stuff of life that fuel long term memories that produce a smile and a sigh when remembered. I want a woman who will produce that kind of sigh. I have so much left to do in my life and I need to keep looking forward. Nothing foretells a wonderful future like new love found. Music is another passion. I sing in the church choir. I was the frontman for a cover band and I’d like to be able to repeat that experience. I want to be able to lay around on a rainy afternoon and play my love all my favorite music, from Mozart to Metallica, Yes, Dylan, Miles Davis and the B-52’s. I have not led a perfect life but my experience is broad and has given me an artist’s appreciation of beauty and truth. I am an open book, so ask me anything. I dare you to challenge me to a half hour of Jeopardy! My perfect someone will be able to keep up with me physically, challenge me intellectually and broaden me emotionally. by the way, this site says i am a taurus but i consider myself a gemini. I was born on the cusp. Overall, I am a very good catch for any woman. I am mature, romantic, attentive, compassionate and loyal. None of that is BS! A first date would be in the daytime. Depending on the weather, I would like to go for a walk or a restaurant with an inimate atmosphere. Could be a combination of both. Have a real conversation, see if there is chemistry. It doesn't have to be long. I just want to see what's in her heart and the way she conducts herself. I want her to feel comfortable enough so that i can kiss her. Not teenage making out. Just a nice kiss to give us both something to think about.
