Trying this out again; I've met some interesting people along the way, just not the right one for me yet.

28 year old independent, ambitious and happy single lady. I live on my own and I do not have any children. I'm a full time student and I work part-time. Life keeps me very busy.

I'm a social butterfly that loves to be surrounded by friends. I can (and will) strike up a conversation with pretty much anyone; and I love to flirt, mostly keeping it innocent...mostly ;). I like to think that I have a pretty decent sense of humor, mostly sarcastic with a generous portion of quirky.

Roller coasters, haunted houses, thriller/horror movies ~ I love being scared!

Cooking for family and friends ~ Don't forget a side of laughs!

Music of almost all variety (especially when its live) ~ My playlist ranges from AFI to Mos Def to ZZ top and everything in between.

Weekend trips to Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa or Niagara Falls ~ if not the weekend just for lunch can be fun

Dancing and singing with my girls ~ I've never claimed to be amazing at either but I have a hell of a time doing it!

Outdoor life, camping, fishing, swimming and hiking ~ nothing beats a fire, good tunes and a beer on a nice night

The serious stuff...

I think It should be said that my longterm goal is to leave Kingston after school, I would love to get back to the west coast, but you never know where life may lead me.

I am looking for a man with similar interests. Someone who knows what he wants and who has a plan on how to achieve it. Above all someone who is generally happy and independent.

You don't need to be a rocket scientist but if you tilt your head to one side every time I try to have a conversation with you, you're probably not right for me. If you are someone who likes to pick fights, or gets angry easily please move on.

Also although I love kids I am not interested in anyone with children, sorry. One day I do want children of my own but not until I'm sure I'm ready.

I guess the biggest thing I can say about a first date is that it should just be fun getting to know someone new.
