I love experiencing new things. I am a romantic, a dreamer and an adventurer. If I say I am going to do something, I always do it. So when I told my family and friends that I was going to join the Peace Corps, run the NYC Marathon, drive across country by myself and enter my first beauty pageant at age 40, I don't know why they were surprised.

I am a vegan and I love to cook. I also enjoy apple picking, dancing, laughing, live plays and listening to music. Jazz, classical, R&B, rap, rock, folk and pop are the different types of music in my collection.

My dream man should have an athletic to regular build and live in NY or NJ. I am 5'8", and I like to wear heels, so someone 6 feet or taller is most desired. At the top of the list would be a man who is: a professional, college graduate, intelligent, open-minded, loves adventure, sensitive, honest, wants kids, handsome and very, I mean very sexual. But that doesn't mean he should bring a condom to our first date. It means so much more. I'll explain later. I am looking for a relationship that could lead to marriage and a family. To me there is nothing more important.

I am also looking for a man who is cultured. SERIOUSLY. He may know something like Bruce Lee played Kato in the television program “The Green Hornet.” Or he isn’t afraid of heights and would like to visit the Grand Canyon and the Great Wall in China. Or someone who knows where Egypt is! Or he is aware that if you say you speak an African language, he knows the language isn’t called “African.” Somebody like that.

Don't think hard of me but I have always had these things listed on my profile and men with those issues have contacted me and it was just a waste of my time.
