I am an atheist. If your profile says Christian, Baptist, or any other organized religion, I don't want to date you. Also, if you look older than me or like you've been around the block a few times, I don't want to date you. If you are large enough that you don't fit in the "a few extra pounds" body type category or smaller, I don't want to date you. If you are white trash or ghetto, I don't want to date you. If this describes you, I won't respond, or even read your messages. Don't even bother with hate mail, I don't care.

Now about me.

I've been told I'm funny, but thin-skinned people usually don't think so. My sense of humor is typically ironic or sarcastic. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, though I'm very opinionated. I am strongly analytical. I am typically aware of other's feelings, though I may not be empathetic. I prefer reality and honesty over niceties, though I am not usually harsh with those I love.

Most of the time, I enjoy mental activities more than physical, but I'm not in bad shape. I love solving problems and will tackle almost any new challenge. I enjoy science and technology. I'm not much of a sports fan unless my kids are playing.

I won't shy away from a good debate, and won't get my feelings hurt if you disagree with me. I like discussing politics and religion and any other topic you're not supposed to discuss in polite company. I hate polite company (not really, but I don't prefer it).

My favorite pastimes are watching good movies, doing anything on a computer, and arguing with my brothers. Much of my free time is spent doing home improvement projects. UPDATE: I recently sold my house and became an apartment dweller, I have much more free time now.

I have a large family (I have four brothers and two sisters) and I'm pretty close with them, though I don't spend much time with them since they are a couple of hundred miles away.

I love kids and animals. I have two boys in elementary school.
