I am intelligent, educated, athletic, responsible, charming, fun and a bit of an intellectual -or at least I like to think I am these things. People say I am hilariously funny (although always being "the funny one" can have its downsides). My coworkers always describe me “unusually honest” (but then, I work in state government- so that is not really saying much, is it?). I am probably too adventurous for my own good, but curiosity always gets the better of me...and obviously I can't post photos on this site to save my life: They all come out looking grainy and distorted.

my job:
I work in Human Resources for the Executive Office of Health and Human Services.(which is sort of like being the ringmaster in the circus of the insane)

my education:
BA from Bard College, 1993. Working on Masters in HR

for fun I like:
Running, reading, hiking, talking politics, hanging out with friends, going to museums, playing chess, exploring the city, road trips through the country, picnics on mountain sides, swimming in waterfalls and enjoying good food!

favorite places:
Maggiano's, in Boston, for dinner. Finales, across the street, for dessert. Weekends in the Berkshires.

People always ask me:
"How do you stay so thin" I answer: "I am not that thin, it is just that you are so fat!"...kidding. I actually say: "it's easy. Just run every day" Then they just look at me funny...

People always email me: "You look kinda young for 39!" I answer, again "Actually, I don't... It just that every one else here lies about their age." (never a good idea to start a relationship by lying to someone)

favorite things:
1. The Chocolate Decadence Cake from Finale’s in Boston (it is the best in the world) 2. Walking or running on a crisp and clear fall day, in the Berkshires, when the leaves are at peak color and the sun is beginning to set. 3. Waterfalls

Last 3 Road Trip Vacations:
1, Driving down the California Coast (spectacular ocean views)
2, South Beach in Miami (an amazingly seductive city)
3, Quebec City (never going back: Canadians think I am one of them!)
