I love learning and seek out fulfilling experiences. I have a zeal for world travel, a penchant for scuba and a passion for motorcycling. (Yes, motorcycling. While I ride, you don't have to. Good riding days are also good golf days, so I'll never complain that you are spending too much time on the course.)
I'm a business professional by day, enjoying both quiet time and the company of friends when away from the office. I relish humour and sharp wit in a mate... the more laughter and tongue-in-cheek debates, the better! I have and will continue to try many things at least once. I do jeans to formal wear, wing night to opera night. I exercise a few times a week and eat healthy most of the time... had a great summer enjoying rollerblading, beach volleyball and tennis. I'm trying snowboarding this winter... wish me luck! I drink socially, enjoying a good martini or glass of wine or two — reds usually, whites too in summer. I love music with a beat that I can dance to, but also enjoy live jazz occasionally. In fact, I love dancing, but I rarely do it these days (add that one to my list again...). If I go to the movies, it’s because there is a high-budget action movie playing. Where things blow up. Expensive things. And the special effects are second to none. Or, my guy wants to snuggle in the dark with me (that works too!). I save the chick flicks for rentals. Just like the character Diana Prince (go ahead... Google her), my conformist appearance is just a ruse... there’s more to me than meets the eye, and that’s the way I like it.
So, that’s me in a nutshell.
And you? You’re a single or divorced (not separated) 5'9" or taller (I wear heels), fit, dynamic, cultured, articulate, attractive, non-smoker, 37-46 yr. old GTA man with a great smile, practical intellect and sense of adventure. You can spell and punctuate (you know and appreciate the difference between there, their and they're), and have passion for more than your job, car or bank account. Chivalry and attentiveness is a definite plus. Being a great kisser is a must! Sense of humour and the ability to laugh at yourself is paramount. You are looking for a long-term relationship — culminating in marriage — that's an abundance of mutual respect, love, passion, intimacy, lots of fun times and a bit of outright silliness, too. You have kids? No problem, I'm open to that as long as they are open to someone new in your life. Excess emotional baggage and drama? Not so much. Check out another profile please.
It all starts with chemistry, and being on the same page when it comes to the important things in life. I'm not looking for my twin (he doesn't exist). The fun part is discovering another point of view in life. Even the best relationship requires a bit of work, but it shouldn't be a chore. So, if you're looking for your mirror image, or a relationship where everything is perfect and you can read each others’ minds, I wish you the best of luck. If those existed, I'd be looking for them too!
I am always open to the opinions of others, but stand my ground when warranted. I'm a believer in open communication (not just the talking part, but the telling me “what’s wrong” part too) and am not into head games. I love intimacy, cuddling and public displays of affection... hugging, holding hands, gentle or even passionate kisses. Though I have been enjoying life as a single gal, I would like a relationship with the right person... friend, lover, partner, to eventually grow old with and doing it all together. And you?
Oh yes... I love cats. And dogs. And iguanas. I am allergic (not to iguanas), but I can work around that.
BTW, for some of you, this is a numbers game, like playing the lottery... contact enough women and some are bound to respond. But if you want me to take you seriously, here are some hints:
1- Write a profile that is more than three lines long. Often the profiles on POF are short and non-descript. You write that you're looking for someone special who shares your values and with whom you have things in common, but you neglect to list any of them. First impressions count on this site, so if you took the time to describe yourself, your likes and dislikes, what makes you tick, you'll find me more receptive.
2- Don't write me a generic email, one that you could easily send to 50 other women on this site. I'll figure that's what you're doing and delete it, so don't waste your time. I'd rather receive one genuine, personalized email than 100 shotgun blasts.
3- Have at least one clear, recent headshot of yourself. Tit for tat.

For the record, kids are great but I’m undecided about having children of my own. So, if you are anxious to start a family with someone here, I may not be the person you are looking for.
