I thought I'd give this a try. I'm what you'd call a nice guy. At least, my friends think so. I've been called thoughtful, sweet, considerate, smart, and a whole bunch of other stuff.

Right now, my goal is to get my own place. Nothing too fancy or huge, just a townhouse or condo in or near downtown Edmonton. I'm also more than three quarters finished on my Plumbing Apprenticeship, so getting that finished is a major goal.

For hobbies, well, I'm a bit of a geek. I'm currently active in a medieval reenactment group called the Society for Creative Anachronism, and that takes up a fair amount of time. In some ways I live the stereotype: Action figures as decorations, book cases full of fantasy and science fiction, RPG dice occasionally underfoot, tons of DVDs. That's me, sort of. Just being honest to my own detriment.

Really, I never know what to type in here. So all I can do is say that if you'd like to know anything about me, just ask.

For our first date, you really can't go wrong with some of the tried and true options: a meal of some kind, a show, going shopping for something, a walk through a park. Of course, I'd like to change things up and try something new. A new restaurant, trying a live show when we've only seen movies recently, going to a different neighborhood than we usually frequent.
