Hello, thanks for dropping by. I had to update my profile, it was pretty stale.

What a good site, I have met some very nice women here. Unfortunately, I’m still alone waiting for that special someone to make and share memories with. I recently watched the movie “Dragonfly”; I thought it was a great movie, have you seen it? The kind of love those two had for each other is the kind of love I want in a relationship. I know that was the movies … but I think it can be real … that’s what I am looking for … is it out there?

About me …. Well, I have been told I’m a good looking guy …. whatever that means? Are you girls just pulling my leg, trying to make me feel good? …lol. I have a respectable career and a job that I actually do like which helps when I get up in the morning. I’m handy around the house when it comes to renovations / building and maintaining but keep me out of the kitchen …. unless you like smoke damage. Why is it, I can stand there for what seems like hours waiting for the water to boil and every time I leave the kitchen for 5 seconds the water boils over and I have a mess to clean up …lol. I actually love to help out in the kitchen as long as I am told what to do. I’ll pour the wine, (which is the first secret to an awesome meal) chop the veggies, stir the pot and baste the meat … you guide me through it all and make sure the water doesn’t boil over.

Last summer I bought myself a pair of inline skates. What a blast, a good workout as well. Thing is I’m not a good skater at all. I was born in England and don’t think we had skates over there at that time. The nieghbours must love watching me make my way up the street. I would imagine they make bets on when I’m going to wipe out. I thought they were all being friendly at first, waving at me as I went by …. I came to realize they thought it was me waving to them …. no … I was just trying to keep my balance … arms flailing around like a madman. I don’t have a gym membership but keep myself active enough. I have a setup in the basement and workout from time to time. I do have a six pack though … in my fridge. I’m not into the bar scene but like going out once in a while. I would prefer a nice dinner and comedy show or movie. I love music, pretty much anything .. depends on the mood I’m in at the time.

I like going for walks through the park or the woods where we can talk about our day’s events or just hold hands and be together. But watch out for the people on roller blades ….lol. I also love to take regular holidays, since I was born in England I am not too sure about these Canadian winters, Christ are they cold. Going south helps me get through the winter months …. Are you into that??


I don’t come carrying any past baggage. I have been separated for about 10 years and now divorced. I have been in a relationship since then but have been single for about 2 years now. I have a beautiful daughter that is 14 years old.

I think the first date should start off by meeting at a coffee shop, although I'm not much of a ooffee drinker it seems that is the safest place to meet. I need to protect myself from some for you girls ... LOL. I'll buy you a coffee or tea or whatever you drink and we can see if that leads into another date. If it does then a dinner at a nice romantic restaurant would be in question.
