My name is Micki and I am22 years old. I live in Calgary, Alberta. I’ve been here for most of my life, though I have lived in Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Toronto, all very briefly. I always keep coming home to Calgary.
I have naturally blonde hair (though it changes frequently!) and bright blue eyes. I’ve been told that I have a dazzling smile, when I give a real, genuine smile that is!
I’m about five feet, two inches tall and I have a bit of chub.
I have 7 piercings- 5x ears, 1 tongue ring and labret – and 2 tattoos, a memorial for my grandpa on my wrist and a skull with batwings on my back. I plan on getting a few more of each.
Generally, I’m very shy when meeting new people, but once I get into the groove of things, I’m quite the handful.
Though I’m not a bar star-not even close!- I do like to go to the local pub, watch some Hockey or UFC and have some drinks and greasy bar food.
In my spare time, I’m an avid reader and a writer. Though I will basically read any and everything I can get my hands on, my favorite books are biographies (newly found love of mine), philosophy and psychology texts, history books, philosophical fiction, historical fiction as well as the fantasy type novel here and there.
I write basically everything. I write short stories, poems, lyrics, essays/position papers, articles, screenplays and rants. I want to start my own little publication just because the type of person I am, and those I associate with, we are an unheard minority in society, but that’s a story for another time.
Also, when by myself, I like to do yoga, meditate and people watch. Just keeps me calm to do so.
Above and beyond what I do in my alone time, some things I like to do include coffee, movies, concerts, 4x4ing, shooting or just plain old sitting around and doing nothing but pass time in the company of others.
Often with my friends, we find ourselves deep in conversation about any and everything that strikes us as discussion worthy.
I’m a music fan as well. I listen to a broad spectrum of things, but mostly rock, metal, industrial, alternative, punk and the like. Right now,my favourite artists include: Marilyn Manson, :Wumpscut:, Suicide Commando, Otep, Straight Line Stitch, In This Moment, Kittie and so on and so forth.
I also listen to some classical and opera. Music I can sing to is also good, as I love to sing!
I'm looking for someone who can deal with me. I try not to play head games, but sometimes, I do with out realizing it. I'm not the easiest person to get along with at first, but once I get to know you, I'm pretty easy going and up for basically anything!
I want someone who has goals for a career and are already on their way to it, or have it, someone who wants to have a family and will treat me well, despite all my issues. (I have a couple of ‘em ;-] )
I am VERY opinionated and passionate about things that matter to me. I will rarely argue a point unless I am 110% certain of it and my position. It’s called conviction.
I'm tired of people paying me lip service just because they think I'm cute.
Just because I look cute, and nice... Doesn't mean I am. I'm just a weirdo who wears my heart on my sleeve and I always seem to get hurt.
I absolutely hate people who don't use proper spelling and grammar. So, if you can't type words out properly, please, don't even waste your time. I will not talk to you, but if I do, it will only be to tell you that I'm not interested and not in a nice way.
I think intelligence is sexy- not arrogance, intelligence! Piercings and tattoos don't hurt either, but both in moderation..

Paintball or to a shooting range. Maybe just slurpees and hanging out in a garage where I can learn about cars? Lying in a field with bubble gum and watching the clouds even!
