so, wow..this is hard describing oneself! Heregoes..I'm a single mom of a beautiful 8yr old girl, and 2 older boys (21 & 17) who are away from home. Also, a mom to a 13yr old boxer girl (update: Boxer girl, Xena, passed away December 12, 2008). Another exciting update!! I have a new boxer boy named Oscar. He's almost 3. His previous owner did not have the time required for this very energetic breed, so now he's all mine!! My daughter and I love him to pieces and are enjoying having a boxer in our home again!!
I'm a little shy upon getting to know someone. I am attracted to positive, happy people, and a great sense of humor. I would like to make laughing one of my primary calorie burners!
My main goal in life has always been happiness, (no different than most folks)...everything else falls into place after that. I've learned that for happiness to happen, ya gotta make it happen yourself! Depending on others to do it for you will often end in disappointment.
I have no intentions of wanting to change anyone, and I wouldn't want someone who wants to change me. It took many years and a few good, sometimes hard, lessons to make me who I am today and I'm proud of me!
Definitely NOT looking for someone with baggage, please, meaning no angry ex-wives or girlfriends you're trying to make jealous or taking a temporary leave from! Definitely NO baby-mama drama! Just a good man who appreciates the simple things in life and who's tired of going through it all alone.
I so enjoy all types of music. I can be honky-tonking one day, and riding the rock-n-roll train the next! I am also a fan of Native American music for chillin' out, relaxin' and cleansing the body, mind, soul and spirit.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the summer! Camping, the beach, tanning, drinking brightly colored, oddly named alcohol beverages, riding on the back of a motor bike, playing in the park with my daughter, hot summer nights, summer storms...it's all good!
Not much for the bar scene, but enjoy a night out once in a while! There should be an element of excitement when getting to know another person, and if the chemistry is there, there's nothing like that butterfly feeling in the pit of your gut whenever they look at you!
OH...and please..no pic, no response...it's only fair! Also, I find nothing appealing about web-camming me to show me your "big guy"...paleeeeze don't do this, as you most likely wouldn't like the reaction!

Seriously, I don't think the first initial meeting should be called "a date"!! It's that moment when you meet for the first time...awkward kinda...that determines if a date is something in both our best interest! THEN, we BOTH can share our thoughts for a first date and decide together.
I'm not much of a pool player but willing to learn! Also not much into the bar scene...perhaps occasionally to get out, but definitely not a habit! While Timmies makes the best coffee in the world, getting jacked-up on caffeine may not be wise either! I love going for car rides and checking out local markets, or festivals.
I LOVE animals and enjoy the occasional trip to the shelter to show some love to the scared and lonely babies there! :) Whatever the case may be...I like it to be a mutual decision!
