It's sometimes hard to figure out what to write in these boxes, so I've asked some friends to compile a list of words that describe me:

I'm also open and honest almost to a fault. I'm not interested in playing girlie mind games so if you don't value direct communication then we're not suited for each other.

Dancing is one of my passions in life so being able to share this with me is a key quality. I love all types of dance but especially salsa, swing, and dancing at clubs. I'm finally getting back into regular outdoor activities such as camping, kayaking, hiking, and spelunking. I've been a little too focused on school the last few years! Luckily the weather in Halifax is finally reasonable so I've been able to go swimming and kayaking quite a few afternoons.

I love cooking but must admit I hate doing the dishes. My friends think I should quit school and become a chef. I tend to pick up hobbies for a few months at a time - I love learning and experiencing new things. My current thing is costume design and sewing. A far cry from the tom boy I used to be growing up!

I'm not interested in a girl who is a push-over/nice girl, but I'm also not interested in "the bad girl" either. I need a girl whose sarcastic wit can keep me on my toes and spice up my life. I am looking for a girl who has a strong focus on something in her life, be it her career, a hobby, music, art, etc. Most importantly, I'm looking for someone to share in fun adventures as well as relaxing at home with a glass of wine after a nice home-cooked meal. I'm very passionate in all that I do, but I'm logic-driven. I need someone who isn't too emotional and she definitely needs to have her own energy and passion. Motivated.

Depends on the person but grabbing a coffee or beer on a patio as an initial meet is a good default. Gives us a chance to meet in person, check for chemistry, and weed out the crazies with a quick emergency exit handy! The second date we can be more creative like mini golf, kayaking, or a concert.
