Me: I'm a laid back kind of guy, easygoing but with a sufficent level of intensity. I have a great sense of humor. Not necessarily a bar/club patron. I am black, age 53 (but look a lot younger); divorced (no drama) kids are great (one in school and the other on their own). In my profile I indicated I was looking for friends. Likes: Honesty, humor, astrology, history, knowing how things work. eating out/in, music (all except bluegrass), UNC Sports, crafts, flea markets, museums, exercise (just finished reassembling my gym), walks in the park, travel. listening to it rain outside my window or the waves breaking and crashing onto the beach, Law and Order and other detective and crime solving programs, TCM, reading in bed, intelligence, NASCAR, cuddling, snuggling and even spooning, fireplaces, how quiet it is after it snows.

Dislikes: Liars, people who play head and mind games.

The Woman I am looking for: Will have a good heart and conscience (like me), old school values and common sense; share some of my interests, but necesarily all of them; have an ability to relax; a good sense of humor and insight, comfortable and confident within herself, spiritual, emotionally stable, not a heavy drinker, non-smoker (or serious about quiting) organized (at least more than I am), non-judgemental. Physically she will be healthy, with a nice smile, figure, etc. Some but not over pierced or tattooed.

The goatee is out of hibernation.

A first date should be fun and low pressure. A walk in the park, through a flea market, book store; museum; dinner out. Just hanging out to see if we click, spark, connect or whatever you may call it.
