I was married to a great guy who passed away from a sudden heart attack 5 years ago. I have a great job, lots of friends and family, but still miss my best friend. My life changed so radically and suddenly that it has taken me a long while to adjust. Things are getting better now, but would like to find someone nice to be my new best friend.

On a first date, I would like to keep things casual and friendly. Maybe romance would come on a subsequent date, but I would just like to get to know a guy and have some fun. It would be nice to rent a sailboat or horses for a day, or just go hiking. I like a good dinner; doesn't have to be expensive. I think an evening at a tavern where a good band is playing would be fun, too.
