My name is Katelyn, I live in Hopatcong, and I absolutely hate describing myself so please bear with me. I am a certified Elementary Education teacher, but because of the job market haven’t been able to find a job. I recently went back to Centenary College to get my second certification in Special Education. I work as an aide in a preschool; and also as a pharmacy technician. I hope to be teaching is a classroom of my own very soon.

I am a pop culture buff. I love watching television and movies and listening to music. I don’t have a favorite genre or anything…it is just whatever looks or sounds good. I am a huge New York Yankees fan. I am also a big Dallas Cowboys fan, but I can pretty much watch any football game. I also am a very big reader.

I have a friend who calls me a “Christmas Freak.” I love decorating, the music, and shopping for presents for my friends and family, who are very important to me. I love the beach (JERSEY SHORE!!!) and amusement parks. I have this deep desire to go back to Disney World (it is the happiest place on Earth).

I know I am a very shy person, but will open up once I start to talk to someone new. I like to think that I have a good sense of humor.

I have been thinking about doing this for a few months now, but was never really too sure about it. It wasn’t until I found out that someone I knew has been married to her husband, who she met online, for seven years. She posted her profile on a whim, so I thought why not give it a try too.
