Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California (a Valley boy!), I'm a very nice, friendly, law-abiding (I hope my parole officer doesn't see this!), affectionate, compassionate, kind, enthusiastic, intelligent, green-eyed, youthful guy. I'm also very loyal, loving, and devoted to my friends and loved ones, including my parents. I believe in obeying the Fifth Commandment to honor my parents by dedicating myself to them as much as I can and by providing compassionate assistance to them as they advance in age and require more help. I also believe that, in general, the way you treat your parents, especially as they advance in age and become more dependent, speaks volumes about you as a person and a potential mate. In other words, unless your parents were exceptionally bad to you, if you treat them poorly or just abandon them now, then how are you going to treat your potential mate?
I love to get high...but only from natural, stimulating, enjoyable, beautiful, transcendent experiences in life. I'm really not interested in frying my brain cells with drugs, smoking, or alcohol

but am only interested in positive, healthful living. Yeah, even when many of my stoner friends back in high school were doing drugs (back then Quaaludes, cocaine, and LSD were popular) at the big block parties in the Valley here in L.A. or at live rock concerts we used to go to (e.g., Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, The Who, Yes, David Bowie, Queen, CSN&Y, EL&P, ELO, Jethro Tull, Supertramp, Boston, Deep Purple, Aerosmith), I had absolutely no interest in doing drugs. I guess those anti-drug propaganda films the schools showed us impressionable children back then influenced me. LOL!
Because I've taken very good care of my mind and body over the years, I feel and look much, much younger than my chronological age. I truly feel like 25 years old and look like 30 something. I'm really a 25-35 year old with the knowledge and wisdom of a 48 year old. So, if you're a very young 40 something (like me) or an older 20-30 something (no, I don't look or act like your typical 40-something old man), I just may be interested in you.
Having graduated with honors from one of the best party schools in America (my parents didn't know about all the parties.

Please don't tell 'em!

), the University of California at Santa Barbara, I am well educated with a degree in philosophy. Continually balancing reason, intellect, passion, instinct, and creativity, I have diverse interests, which include, but are definitely not limited to: Writing, acting, movies, wide variety of music, travel, photography, philosophy, psychology, law, medicine, intelligence, language, learning, health, physical fitness, Rollerblading, snow skiing, running, hiking, sailing, mujeres que son tan preciosas como Latinas y Italianas (pero otras tambien!), loving and playing with animals (not eating them, but I don't care what others eat), dining, Italian and other fine food, and much more!
I like connecting with positive, friendly, tolerant, motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, passionate, adventurous, fun, loving, affectionate, sweet, dependable, honest, loyal women who are also continually striving to improve all aspects of themselves--mind, body, and soul. Are you a good soul who can connect with another good soul, especially in this fast-paced, frenetic Internet age?
"Only connect! That was the whole of her sermon.
Only connect the prose and the passion, and both will be exalted.
And human love will be seen at its height.
Live in fragments no longer.
Only connect...." (E.M. Forster's
Howards End)
Why am I here online to connect? Well, I like meeting people in person like the ones I described above, and I do that. But I'm busy and like to travel too. So, I don't have as much of an opportunity as I'd like to find meaningful, solid connections in person. At first, I thought sites like this were just for dorks, but some of my friends (I mean my cool friends, not my dorky friends!) actually found good friends, true love, and even marriage on sites like this. Who would have known or believed? So, I thought I'd give it a try! But the real reason I'm here to meet online is the same reason most of you are here: In the comfort of my home or office, I secretly enjoy screening and evaluating people I've never met. Ha! C'mon, you know you enjoy it too! Don't lie!
After getting many...provocative messages and invitations from some of you "colorful" women here who apparently haven't gotten out of the house since Bill Clinton was president and Monica Lewinsky was at the head of her class, I want to clarify something: Yes, I'm a very sensual, passionate, energetic, giving, young guy who loves to share intensely pleasurable emotional and physical intimacy with beautiful women. But I'm really not interested in a long series of
empty, promiscuous encounters with a myriad of women. In other words, I love sharing meaningful, fulfilling passion and intimacy, not with many women at one time, but with one special, beautiful woman at a time.
Thanks a lot for the attention and interest, but some of you here really need to engage in some regular, high-intensity physical exercise, like running, spinning, or jumping rope, to reduce your stress. I swear, some of you women think about just one thing. Sheesh! LOL! :-)
And for all you bad girls who try to persuade me that variety is the spice of life, I'd like to share with you what a passionate Italian friend of mine told me. She quoted someone who said, "A real man doesn't make love to a thousand different women; he makes love to one woman a thousand different ways." Oh, so now you're going to tell me that you have a wild imagination, know more than a thousand different ways, and are going to rock my world! Please! LOL!

It's Friday right after work. You and I meet at L.A. International Airport, from where we take off in a private Gulfstream jet with a destination still unknown to you. (Aren't you spontaneous?) There has been instant chemistry between us and love at first sight. We can just feel that destiny is taking control. You're so excited and eager to know where we're going. (But you're adventurous, right?) When we're in the air looking down at the dreary rat race below, I tell you we're on our way to one my favorite romantic cities in the world, Florence in Tuscany, Italy.
When we touch down in Italy, we make our way to an awesome hotel in Florence right on the Arno River. I think it's called the Grand Hotel and was some kind of beautiful 18th century palace. We go unwind and relax at a gourmet Tuscan restaurant near the hotel. There, we enjoy each other's company, scintillating conversation, and some of the most delicious Italian food we've ever had, while sipping the best Tuscan wines and listening to romantic music by Giacomo Puccini.
Feeling fully satisfied, we take a romantic stroll along the Arno and continue to talk and laugh as the beautiful sun sets. We then take a carriage ride through Florence and back to our hotel.
After the weekend, on Monday morning, you call work to say you're feeling a little under the weather and should stay home to rest for a few days. (You naughty girl you!) We actually continue on our journey of exploring the gorgeous city where the Renaissance all started and where we're feeling...well, reborn too. Together, we explore Florence's spectacular architecture, masterpieces of art, galleries, restaurants, trattorias, gelatorias, night life, wine bars, and boutiques.
On Wednesday, we've forgotten about our lives back at home, temporarily lost our senses and rationality, and descended into the "sweet life" in Italy. We debate whether you should call work to tell them you'll return to your utterly dreary job on Thursday or we should continue to vividly imagine you're a young, gorgeous (1960s) Sophia Loren and I'm a young, handsome Marcello Mastroianni living "la dolce vita" in Tuscany, Italy.
What do you decide to do when we're in Italy living the decadent sweet life? Do you return to your dreary, ho-hum existence on Thursday? Or are you an adventurous, free-spirited, bad girl who wants to continue la dolce vita in Italy and then island hopping in Greece...at least for a little while longer?
