I am looking for a genuine man. A guy who's not afraid to be honest with me and tell me how he feels, but also someone who balances me out. We dont have to have everything in common, in fact I think a lot of times opposites really do attract and it works out well. I consider myself to be very empathetic. I've been through quite a lot in my 25 yrs and I think this has made me a more understanding soul. I've been told I'm strong,vivacious,thoughtful, and outgoing among other things. Right now I'm in school to get a teaching certificate in art so that i can someday teach elementary art. I'm also working part time as an after school teacher at a public elementary school during the week. Im not much of a bar or club person. I prefer to be somewhere where I can actually hear people talk. I will go to bars once in awhile though. I've been living in Chicago my whole life, with the exception of my college years which were spent in a small town in Ohio, not too far from Columbus.

I think a coffeehouse or some place low key for lunch would be nice. Somewhere where we can hear each other talk and where its comfortable enough for us to get to know one another a little.
