I am a single parent of two college students who has, in a short period of time, earned a graduate degree and reinvented myself from an out of work actress to an employed, credentialed teacher. I delight in a sense of humor, intelligence, compassion, love of kids and animals, and the desire to make a contribution.

I live a fairly secure, good life, but I want to have a partner to tap on the shoulder when I see something exciting, to share a funny story with, to run away with on a weekend, to share popcorn with at the movies. I'm fortunate to have a great son and daughter, 23 and 21, beginning to make their way in the world. I'm lucky to have many close friends, some since we were kids, to live in a beautiful home I redesigned myself after the '94 quake, to have a job that's creative, fun, and even inspiring on a good day. As my kids move on to dorms and life plans I continue to share my home with our two small dogs, and two elderly cats who are all great companions but their conversational abilities, although enthusiastic, are limited. A significant other with humor, intelligence, compassion, fairness, and a sense of fun would make a good life even better.
