Hello All -

When I first signed up for this site about a year ago, I was sure I would meet the man of my dreams....fall in love....and live happily ever after. That didn't really happen, but I can't say I'm disappointed. I don't mind being alone at all, and I would actually like to meet someone to date long term, but for now I like doing what I'm doing, but I wouldn't mind meeting a few new people.

I used to compete on my college track team, but I'm pretty out of shape now. I am working on getting that back....I'm starting week 4 of working out everyday. I have an amazing friend who has been there every step of the way. Eventually I would actually like to throw the hammer again, but right now I'm focusing on running a mile (without stopping) and then eventually a 5K. I'm on this run/walk "program" per se and let's just say it's interesting.

Other things about me. I LOVE LOVE my family. They don't live close to me, but I like to see them when I can. I enjoy live sporting event, and I love music of all kinds. I like to watch a good movie and read interesting books. I keep a close circle of friends who are very important to me. I am more of a home body. You won't catch me at a bar or the club. If you want to know more....I guess we can get to that.

My goals....I would like to buy a house soon. It's a major commitment and I've had an on again off again relationship with the idea of buying one. I still want to figure out what I want to do when I grow up. I want to have an amazing family one day...hopefully lots of kids and pets. I also want to visit Alaska....as well as to be able to travel.
