Introductions
I believe in full disclosure so I'll begin by saying I'm content with my life as it stands now. I've been graced with a great family, a comfortable upbringing, interesting educational and professional experiences, and enough income to have some fun along the way. That being said, I'm not here to fill a void. I'm here to find a friend or mate who compliments an already well-rounded existence. And if you have a cute butt...well...that's all the better.
Education:
I have three college degrees: Law enforcement, criminal justice, and environmental chemistry. I've also taken numerous college-level courses for "enrichment," including risk management, theology, computer science, Spanish, and--how's this for nuts?--group psychotherapy.
Work history:
I worked over eight years researching the Great Lakes for the U. S. government. During that time, I spent considerable time aboard university-, state-, and federally-owned research boats staffed with top-notch scientists from all over the world. Living life "on the sea" is/was an awesome experience and I remain grateful that I was given a front-row seat for nearly a decade.
In the fall of 2000, I moved to Minnesota from Michigan. I spent the first five-plus years at the Mayo Clinic doing research on human metabolism and Type II diabetes. While working full time, I earned two more college degrees, became certified as an EMT, and graduated from a six-month police academy. I'm now a full-time law enforcement officer ("Give me Ham...hold the Mayo") in one of the Twin Cities metro counties and I love what I do. My next goal is to move into Investigations and I'm hoping that will be a reality in the next several years.
Seeking:
So who am I looking for? A genuine gal who beats to her own drummer. She neither wants nor needs attention through pop-culture fads and (mis)behaviors. She's content with her life and wants to share it with an intelligent guy who doesn't define himself by beer, hunting, and football.
