Hey there....I am an independent guy looking for an independent lady to spend time with. Friendship would be welcomed, and then see where things go, but I am open to any possibility. I am supposed to talk about myself here, so here goes:
1. I love fishing, both hard and soft water.
2. I like trying new restaurants, and enjoy trying different foods.
3. I like red wine, but I also enjoy an occasional beer.
4. I was recently bitten by the travel bug, and am considering taking a trip somewhere "off the beaten path" next year, but I also enjoy travelling to different places in Ontario for a week, or just a week end.
5. Sports like hockey, NFL football ( go Dolphins!!), and Nascar also interest me.
6. Under the hat in my pictures is a brush cut, I usually get it freshly mowed every 2 weeks!
7. I am usually fairly quiet, but can be really opinionated on some issues that I have strong feelings about.
8. I have a wide variety of taste in music...I saw Sinatra 4 times while he was still alive, but have also seen Metallica, Ozzy, and Judas Priest...Not a fan of "twangy country" or rap crap...I think I have Alice in Chains, Rush, Green Day, NIN, Metallica, and Sinatra in my disc changer currently...talk radio is also entertaining on those long trips up north.
9. I am honest, and can be really sarcastic. I'm also not what many people consider to be "politically correct".
10. I look exactly like my pictures.....if I was going to post old or fake pictures, wouldn't I pick somebody better looking?? LOL
11. It doesn't matter to me how tall you are...in boots, sandals, sneakers, or heels...
12. I used to play golf regularly, but I think I became what the E*Trade baby would call a "shankapotomus"...I still hit the odd basket, but it has been a while since I played a round.
13. I try to hide it, but most people that know me well would classify me as "100% nerd"...not sure if there is a stamp, test, or certification for that...it's probably true, but I still try and hide it.
14. Virtual flowers don't cut it with me...if you've read this far, you deserve the real thing.

16. My friends call me "Jarhead"....probably because of my haircut...maybe because of my attitude.... 8)
17. Does anyone read this?
18. Smart and sports minded are a couple qualities I like, and if you like doing outdoor activities in every season, that's awesome as well.
19. Try not to judge this book by its cover 8)
