Well, let's start with this. I'm a bit of nerd. I have nerdy interests including (but not limited to) sci-fi, grammar, comic-based movies, martial arts movies, reading, British humor and programming (BBC America is fantastic), painting, and of course family. I also really enjoying watching UFC, WEC, and other mixed martial arts.

I laugh at everything and that seems to work out quite well for me because I love to laugh. I'm a nice, compassionate person and I invest a great deal in my relationships. I put in 100% and expect to receive the same in return. I'm looking for someone who's thoughtful, genuine, funny, and doesn't take himself too seriously. I have a silly side and I'd love to find someone who can appreciate that.

Despite my silly side, I'm also goal-oriented and ambitious when it comes to my career and personal life. I tend to have a plan at all times, but I'm not rigid -- I understand that things are ever-changing and I can adapt. I'm hoping to find someone who approaches life with equal ambition and passion.

Random things about me:
I recently brought home an adorable little kitten. Her name is Dax and she's a little purr-ball.

I love food...almost more than life itself. Indian food is hands down my favorite, but I love all kinds and I'm always up for trying something new.

I'm addicted to chocolate.

I work out most days, but I'm by no means obsessed with it. It just makes me feel good.

I've always got a camera with me, so I hope you don't mind having your picture taken.

I strongly oppose the overuse and abuse of commas and exclamation points. I'm a word nerd.

I'm dying to visit Ireland. A little piece of me dies every day that goes by and I don't visit.

I adore being on or near water. It's calming.

Autumn is the best season, and October is my favorite month, specifically. The colors are gorgeous, the weather is perfect, and it's just an amazing sensory overload. I love it. There's nothing like an evening walk during the autumn months. Plus...Halloween. Enough said.
