I am looking for my perfect someone. No one is perfect, but someone is close to "perfect for me" for every one of us.

I am very young at heart and I love to have fun, laugh and just love life. We only live once!! Whether that fun be sitting around a firepit, visiting with friends or family, hiking, fishing, camping, or even something as simple as taking my two dogs to the off leash park - then I'm in. If you like the zoo, the flea market, antique stores and hockey...a bonus! If you like snowstorms and thunderstorms, great so do I!!! If you like sunrises as much as sunsets, that's also wonderful. I also treasure quality time with my guy. I value equality in a relationship where both give and receive. Life is too short to not be living it to the fullest.

A sexy guy to me is someone with whom I have chemistry, who is intelligent, who has a great sense of humor, who loves life!! A man who is confident (not overly), a man who is honest, loyal, has good morals and respects people.

Here is something positive I saw which I think needs to be shared. It's great advice - at least it works for me. And yes, I'm a hopeless romantic for sure!!!

If a woman stares at your lips - kiss her.
If she pushes you or hits you like a dumb ass - grab her and don't let go.
If she starts cursing at you trying to act tough - kiss her and tell her you love her.
If she is quiet - ask her what is wrong.
If she ignores you - give her your attention.
If she pulls you away -pull her back.
When you see her at her worst -tell how beautiful she is - tell her that everyday.
If you see her crying - just hold her and don't say a word.
If you see her walking/standing in front of you - sneak up and hug her waist from behind.
When she's scared - protect and hold her.
If she has a nightmare - hold her closer.
If she teases you - tease her back and make her laugh (it means she likes you).
If she says she likes you - she really does more than you can understand.
If she grabs your hand - hold her's and play with her fingers.
If she tells you something important to her - acknowledge it's importance.
When she looks into your eyes - don't look away till she does.
When she's mad - hug her tight and don't let go.
When she says she's OK don't believe it, - talk more, let her get it all out.
Treat her like she's all that matters to you - and you will get the same in return.
Tell her she's important - and you will be the most important person to her.
Kiss her in the pouring rain - kiss her every chance you get.
When she says it's over - believe her, she would never lie about it, and it's likely been over for some time, you just didn't know it.


I am pretty outgoing, independent and work full time. I am smart (not any smarter than anyone else though - remember I am blonde..lol). I have my own wheels and my own home. I'm often pretty straight forward (which often gets me into trouble..lol), honest, loyal and I treat people with respect, just as I like to be treated :)

As of Oct 14/09 I have quit smoking for good!

And of course, I've met or my friends have met, (in the past two active months being on here) guys who are married (and yet his profile says he's single - I know he's married I have friends who went to the wedding), guys who have girlfriends and guys who just can't see the best thing standing in front of them. If you're one of them, please have the decency to keep moving and I'll thank you for it! As I said, life is too short to not be happy. Be daring, take a chance, go for it - if you don't you'll never know, and who knows, it could be the best decision you ever made in your lifetime :)) (Just my 5 cents - inflation and all...lol)

My grandfather passed away so quickly I didn't even get the chance to say good bye. I miss him still after over 20 years. And earlier this year my Mom passed away from cancer.
