My ideal first date would be to do something together - like playing golf or even bowling! Sometimes the formality of a dinner date does not allow you to get to know each other on a casual basis so I prefer the idea of getting to know each other through sharing an activity. Sometimes a long walk followed by a bistro dinner would be ideal, or even meeting up skiing somewhere and going for an apres ski dinner/dance for a fun evening! The first date should be all about feeling comfortable together and for getting to know each other in a casual setting. I really hate the "dressed up" formal first dates which many times can be very ackward and not allow each other to be themselves. |
