I am a pretty positive person...I work a lot, travel a bit (1-2 weeks/month), play a lot, and try to balance my friends and my family. I am looking for a mostly bright and shiny partner, someone who is both realistic and fanciful, thankful for the life we live, yet determined to make it better. I understand that everyone is not always positive, and am looking for someone to not only share her love, but her pain as well. I love to listen to music, find adventures and travel the world. I am both serious and childlike, looking for a playful partner to build a life with me, and laugh all along the way.

I try to stay away from drama, but deal well with. I am very calm when complex situations arise and react well in an emergency. I am a pretty open minded liberal person about most things, am not easily shocked at anything, and like to be amazed at new things that may be revealed. I am respectful of everyone, that is not to say that I am not flawed and don't act out on occasion, because I certainly am and do, but I try as much as possible to be cognitive of others feelings and follow the rules we were taught as children.

Does it really matter that much as long as we're together? I suppose a first date would depend on what I find out about you. If we don't talk much at first, but want to meet, then maybe we'd play it safe with a drink or some coffee/tea, or maybe gelato or ice cream or something simple. If we had spent lots of time on the phone, or revealed serious things via email, we might make it a "real" date and take the chance of a whole meal...My favorite dates are when you let your guard down (or your hair since I don't have any) and just totally be the person you are every day....the one everyone else sees. I want to see that person. I am blunt and vocal, and want to make sure you lay it all out, and let me know what's going on in your mind. Honesty's pretty hot...
