I'm very active and would like to find someone who likes to go out and be active, and not sit around the house all the time. I ride my bike (when it's not snowing!), take Japanese swordfighting classes (currently training for brown belt), and take Taiko drumming classes. I love to go offroading in my Jeep, and go camping, hiking, and swimming. I'm an avid photographer. I hope the person I meet is intelligent, fun, loves music (any but country!) and enjoys the outdoors.

Currently, I am a fulltime nursing school student and volunteer for a local AIDS program. I perform client support (taking patients to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, providing companionship) and am training to be an HIV tester and counselor there. The volunteer work is very rewarding to me, and I am very excited about embarking on a new career as an RN when I get out of school.

I love to pamper the man that I'm with, whether it is by cooking a fabulous dinner (I used to be a professional chef) or simply snuggling up with him and watching a movie or just doing other little things to make his day better. The person I'm looking for is intelligent, kind, fun, and has a lot of interests of his own - some of which he'd like to share with me.

I had lapband surgery in March 2009. I have lost 45 pounds before my surgery, 60 pounds since my surgery, and have 50 more pounds to get to my ideal weight, which I should reach by next summer. I feel great and have so much more energy now! So let's get out and have some fun! :)
