Hi, thanks for checking out my profile. Please do read it as it offers a few clues about who I am. There is more...but...

I have three adult children and three granddaughters, a dog and two brand new kittens.

I am sometimes described as weird! Scared yet? I play world of warcraft, watch hockey and football, been a home brewer off and on for twenty years and love dirty jokes and Shakespeare. I live in the country on 25 acres but have to go to the city for a good bookstore, some food or an occasional event like a play or concert. I seldom wear make-up but like pretty things underneath.

I am a fiscal conservative but a social liberal, in other words I believe in being wise about how we spend and don't think the government has any business telling a woman what she can do with her body or who can marry. There's more but that will give you an idea of who I am.

I dislike people who don't care about the world. Sheep are not my style. I'd rather spend time with someone who disagrees with me than with someone who has no opinions.I dislike bible thumpers but respect faith. I dislike meanness but like firmness. I dislike people who think they know better than everyone else but I admire people with the ability to step up when it's needed. I dislike picky eaters (a personal peeve) and like someone who is willing to try anything once. I loath hypocrisy and find it difficult to respect people who are unwilling to explore new ideas or options.

The site suggests talking about what makes me unique. Well, I have been told over time that I am! Does that count?

Humm my aspirations? I aspire to find a new direction in my life. Maybe a hell raising old lady? I aspire to know my children, friends, family my backyard and the world better every day. Oh, and to find a partner in crime!

There's a question about the sort of person I want to meet...let's see.

Someone who appreciates me and enjoys being appreciated in return. Someone who isn't afraid to talk about the issues of the day. Someone who has a firm idea of self but who isn't stuck there unchanging. Someone who enjoys and is comfortable with physical expressions of affection.

Someone who reads and loves music. Someone who can locate countries on a map or at least knows generally where to look for them and can identify the three branches of government. Someone who would be happy to spend a Sunday in bed all day watching political shows and football, reading the paper and of course enjoying each other. Maybe someone who will play warcraft with me.

Someone smart, playful and yummy. Someone who is willing and able to live, laugh and love.

Someone who makes me bite my bottom lip after our first meeting and sigh.

Gee, not asking for much am I?

Don't contact me if you think Glen Beck is right, if you chew tobacco or if you want to take me to church. Beck epitomizes everything that is wrong with the country, chewing tobacco is messy and tastes bad and organized religion is the root of all evil. I don't have an issue with God it's God's fan club I cannot stand.
