I'm just a normal, good guy. Not much into bars but enjoy going out. I am loyal, hardworking, and loving. I have a good career and Midwestern values - God, family, country. Holding the door for a lady comes instinctively to me. I want to find the one woman who will share my life, my joys, my fears, my victories and my sadnesses, as I will hers. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs or have a violent bone in my body. I love to travel, enjoy movies and theater, nature, dining out or enjoy home cooking, sports, the beach, movie nights at home, affection. History fascinates me and influences my reading and TV viewing tastes. I recently took up nature photography - It's not National Geographic quality but people have told me it is pretty good. I have a terrible sweet tooth. I'm not necessarily looking for external beauty but someone whose real beauty comes from within; someone who, like me, needs to be needed and wanted. The woman I seek does take pride in how she looks, makes the best with what she has - is comfortable in a t-shirt and shorts or a nice dinner dress. I enjoy light rock, music of the 80's & 90's through today (not into rap, though). I love movies, especially comedies and well done dramas. I also enjoy good theatre, especially when a Broadway-type production comes to town.

Our first date would be very low-key, a casual dinner, a bottle of wine (I prefer a nice cab, merlot or chianti), a quiet place where we could talk. If we both felt compelled, we might end it with a kiss on the cheek and plans to meet again soon.
