So, what have you been doing the last few weeks? Halloween weekend I went to stay at my friend's house near Easton along the Delaware River. His band played Halloween night and I sat in with them. My other friend's from NJ came by. You probably would have had a good time. Pam is real easy to talk to and so are Joanne and Bruce. Pete and I talked music for hours so that may have bored you a bit. Sunday Pete and I went out for breakfast (To me, a vacation is sleeping in a different bed and eating breakfast out)then went to a car show. You would have enjoyed all the stories we have to tell. Another weekend I took a ride to Johnstown PA to see the Johnstown Flood museums. Hey, you were't around and I wasn't going to sit home moping! Anyway, I like rides and museums. Gotta get out to see Horseshoe Curve in Altoona. I was in Pittsburgh for work last week and visited with an old friend from NJ. We went to see a duo (guitar and piano) at this restaurant. I've been busy learning songs and practicing. The band I'm in plays 11/20. If you like to dance we might have a little something going on for you. ;-) It would be nice to talk to you in between sets and smile at you while I sing. Last weekend I went on a motorcycle ride to York PA with some guys. Came home, got on my old motorcycle and went to the diner. If you have a bike you could have ridden along. If not, maybe this would be "my thing" but I'd sure look forward to seeing you when I got home. Thanksgiving weekend I'm going to upstate NY where I used to live. My friend's house up there is like a riot - loud, talking, singing, carrying on, lots of kids, we're always doing something, riding motorcycles, talking a walk, basketball games, Rock on the Dock in the summer. You'd have fun. Coming back Sunday to NJ and going with other old friends to see a band in New Hope PA. The week after I have start getting ready for a band job 12/5. I went out to eat a bunch of times. Would have been nice to talk about your day. I've got vacation time to burn before the end of the year. I was thinking about Vegas, Memphis or some island but wish you were around to keep me company. Why am I telling you this? I'm going places, doing stuff but it would be a lot more fun with you in my life.

Separated for me means living apart, lawyers involved, legal separation papers signed detailing the terms of the divorce and waiting for the final decree. We get along fine and share custody of the dog. No lying, deception or hidden issues and no more drama than what life normally throws at us. Do I get points for honesty?

Whatever you are comfortable such as a public, short, meet and greet kinda thing to see if there's any connection. Come see my band play, wander a flea market or antique shop, stroll around Gettysburg, walk the towpath or along the river, go to an acoustic open mic or last but not least, get the traditional cup of coffee.
