Okay...I've changed this section a couple of times already ~LOL~ So here I go again.
The above "Do Not" list still applies and will always apply. I've been trying to weed out the type of men who I don't care to socialize with and possibly meet those who I have common interests with. However, so far no luck. Those of you who I've talked to on here and that I've become online friends with...this does not include you. (Hugs)

First and foremost...I'm here for FRIENDS. If I cannot be your friend then how could I honestly expect to date you?? I will not go out with you just to make YOU happy. If I'm friends with someone and a romance blossoms from that....then it does. I really don't expect that to happen with someone online really...but it doesn't mean that I'm ruling it out.

Even though I'm a romantic I'm also a pessimist. I'm not one that is easily fooled.
I've been single for a long time because I've chosen to be. Like a lot of people I've composed a list in my head of what I will and will not settle for or compromise as far as a relationship goes. I don't feel the need to completely define that either. That only helps the "fakers" be fake...LOL.

I don't have a lot of time to spend "kissing frogs". I'm a very busy person and a very dedicated mother. My time is limited when it comes to "going out". That includes going out with my girlfriends. Don't take it personal if I don't want to go out with you. Since my "going out" time is limited I choose to be selective. That's not a bad thing. I live my life by a schedule as do a LOT of people. That is one of the reasons that many people choose to TRY online dating to meet people.

Even though I don't believe that you can develop "chemistry" through a photo...come on guys...there has to be some sort of attraction. Just because you might be attracted to me does NOT mean that I'm attracted to you. My pictures have been taken within the last year...It would be nice if more of you guys would update yours. There are plenty of 10yr old photos that I have of me which I prefer...but those aren't the ones posted. We are who we are. Don't you think that if we met I wouldn't notice the difference?? At least post pictures from within the last year.
Also, if you want me to take notice of your email and the spot where your picture is supposed to be is solid blue....Send a photo along with your email or I will not reply. I like to at least see who I'm having a conversation with.

I like classical music...I like rock...However, I'm NOT into country. I do not want to go country dancing!! haha
I enjoy rock concerts, theater, museums, vacations, shopping, comedy shows, seafood, girly things, etc, etc....I also like old movies and the type of men who KNOW how to romance a girl. Therefore, the phrase "hey girl, let's hook up" does NOT apply.
I like watching dramas...but prefer not to have any. It's too much of a headache for me. Say what you mean and mean what you say. I don't want to TRY to figure it out.
I'm not into red meat or BBQ's. I'm not a big drinker. In MY opinion..drinking is something that should be done on occasion and you should NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE!!! Those of you who do are idiots and should be ashamed of yourselves. (smile)

That being said...don't ask me out for drinks. It's simply NOT going to happen.
I like a man who can use their imagination so if you want to ask me out use a little creativity and PLAN a date. Otherwise I'm bored already.

If you want to get to know me...then do exactly that. I like fake men just as much as I like fake friends. There is always more than meets the eye. If your a lier it will always catch up with you. It might not be today or tomorrow but it will happen. Treat people as you wish to be treated. Treat women as you would wish someone to treat your sister or mother. Just because someone seems hardened when it comes to relationships doesn't mean that they don't have a heart. Maybe they just haven't met the person that they want to share it with.
