My main quality (and what I'm looking for in a woman too) is my spirituality. As I walk this wonderful world, I find it infusing more and more my daily activities and all aspects of my life. I've always been a dreamer, a feeler, and a deep-thinker. I'm a visionary, yet I'm practical. That's what will change the world! I'm goofy but completely serious when it comes to the things I'm passionate about in life. I'm easy-going but incredibly tenacious. I live my dreams. I want to suck the whole world in. I have fun like a teenager. I'm young at heart. I was born old. I'm an open book, but I think people might see me as mysterious.

The main thing I'm looking for in a woman is spirituality, be it meditation, yoga, nature, or simply an interest in personal growth, not necessarily a formal system. For the past six years I've done a lot of Zen meditation and bodytherapy, but I get a lot out of many traditions, including yoga, Vipassana, and martial arts. I used to teach Tai Chi, and I've also studied Kung Fu, Judo, Aikido, as well as others.

My ideal woman is someone who is.... how can I put it? Both young and old. Wise and silly. Spiritual, yet practical. Strong, yet sensitive. It's hard to find, but I know you're out there. I mean, there must be a girl out there who can take spirituality seriously one day and then just hang out and shoot pool the next, who likes deep intimate conversations but can also let go and have a snowball fight! My girl should have a dark side too, though, like in that Heather Nova song: "It's burning in our fingers, and it's burning on the road, and I like the way you're broken, and I like you when you're old..." cuz I'm broken too. Only in a good way, of course. I can't stand drama.

Recently, I've just found the work of David Deida, and though his ideas on the masculine and feminine might initially seem very non-PC, they really aren't and can help deepen one's spiritual growth like nothing else.

I'm also into Karezza, a way of love-making that's gentle and deeply intimate. It's healing and brings a deep communion between the two partners. While I'm single, I'm a brahmachari in the true sense of the word, meaning I'm no longer ruled by the passion cycle and instinct to procreate. It's not a forced celibacy but a shift at the neurochemical level, and now that I've done this, I'm no longer nagged by lust and can appreciate life and feminine beauty on whole new levels. I want to find a woman, however, for I believe that the divine can be found through love. Karezza just helps bring out deeper and deeper levels of love, and I mean true love, not what normally passes for Tantra these days (e.g. better orgasms or sexual energywork without any kind of deep connection with one's partners). If love is true, one naturally wants to be monogamous. This is a whole new level of sexuality that I've discovered, and it's not forced. There's a neurochemical basis for conflict in relationship caused by the normal kind of sex, but karezza not only removes this basis, it leads to even higher spiritual levels.

A word about my profession: I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so my career of "walking the earth" is about the best description at this point, but I know I'd never be satisified with the typical 9-to-5. I have been an entrepreneur in different fields as well as a computer programmer, but I'm currently on an inward journey of healing and spiritual discovery.
