I have an analytical mind and enjoy sharing banter with a quick-witted companion. I enjoy being outdoors, and prefer the lakes and mountains and associated activities (fresh water boating and fishing, skiing). I also like a nice dinner out, live theater, movies, quiet times at home, occasional bicycle ride, and motorcycle (not necessary for a partner to like motorcycles). I do like to clear my mind riding around the back roads of NH. I enjoy travel, would like to see more of Europe (preferably with a partner), and will try almost anything. I actually don't mind shopping, as long as I get to express my opinions. I tend to be slow to open up in social situations and partner well with a more extroverted personality who shares my tendencies toward more liberal values, and a dry wit. I have 4 great kids, and 4 grandchildren, so far. I try to stay involved and enjoy being part of their lives. I can be attracted by a wide range of visual, sensual, or intellectual attributes. Mutual physical attraction has to pretty much be there from the start. I consider myself passionate; and, I'd like my partner to be passionate also. I understand that communication is essential, and more connection than passion is required to really understand each other. I am up front and honest, almost to a fault, and have zero tolerance for deceit or dishonesty. I would like to spend time with a woman who shares some of my interests and has a desire to build from there. I'd like to chat more if you're curious. I prefer to meet face to face early on, in a casual lunch or dinner, without any high expectations. You can spend a lot of time on line building images and setting expectations only to find on meeting face to face that one, or the other, has no interest.
